Irene was die dogter van Enos Wortley en Edith Lindley.
Next was Irene. She became pregnant at 16 and her mother
threw her out because of this - very sad. I can't remember the fathers name but
they got married. Their first daughter was physically handicapped, the second
daughter survived and married a lovely man called Guy. We were not close to
them, but tragically their son committed suicide at 19. He went to my old
school when this happened. Irene and Jean felt that the family never cared for
them, but I think they were always somewhat insular. (Michael Wortley)
