h.4.  Gysbertus Johannes (Bertie), geb. 04/11/1932, Pofadder, oorl. 07/07/2011, Pretoria x 18/05/1957, Kaapstad met Marian DUNKER, geb. 01/04/1934, , d.v. Frans Migiel Duncker van Kenhardt en Maria Budler van Upington.

Gysbertus Johannes was die seun van Gysbertus Johannes Goosen von Wielligh en Anna Sophia Wilhelmina Nel.

Bertie het in Paarl Boys High skoolgegaan en het senter vir die eerste rugbyspan gespeel.  Hy het aan Universiteit van Kaapstad studeer en die graad MBchB verwerf. Hy was 'n narkotiseur.  Op 18 Mei 1957 het hy in die Groote Kerk, Kaapstad met Marian Duncker getrou.

Bertie is om 7.00 nm op  7 Julie 2011 in Pretoria in die Zuid-Afrikaanse hospital oorlede en op 14 Julie 2011 begrawe.

Bert snr (M.B.CHB (Cape) M.MED (Pretoria) F.F.A (SA)) is a retired anaesthetist. His years of experience in establishing and management of multi-disciplinary high-tech hospitals started with day clinics in the Robert Koch and Louis Pasteur buildings in Pretoria.  As the managing partner, he established with his partners the Medforum Hospital, a multi-disciplinary hospital, in 1983.  He retired in 1998 as an anaesthetist.

He remained chairman of the Medforum group until the merger and establishment of the Curamed group.  After the acquisition by Medi-Clinic in 2002, he remained non-executive director of Curamed until 2004, whereafter he resigned.

Dr Von Wielligh was the first chairman of the Cure Day Clinics-Holdings group and one of the founding members.  Dr Von Wielligh passed away in June 2011.  His enthusiasm, business knowledge and energy for excellence will be missed. (Lynne du Toit)
