Dorothy J. Rice, 85, of 619 Gillen Ave.,
Wabash, IN since 1941, died Thursday, March 21, 2002 at Rolling Meadows
Healthcare Center of LaFontaine, IN. She was born June 12, 1916 at Logansport,
IN to George and Lillian (Brown) Wortley.
A homemaker, she married William A. Rice May
8, 1937; he died May 18, 1996.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist
Church of Wabash. She was a 1934 graduate of Logansport High School.
Survivors include two sons, Gary A. Rice of
Muncie, IN and Randall W. (Judy) Rice of Rapidan, VA. Two brothers and a sister
preceded her in death.
Funeral service was held Monday, March 25,
2002 at McDonald Funeral Home Eddingfield Chapel, with Rev. L. Michael Wilson
