Mrs. Bonnie Grace Wortley was seeking a divorce from Ted Wortley yesterday in Judge James' court, and as there is about $12,000 involved the suit is being contested. The parties were married in Kansas City in 1891, and there are five children, all of whom are now living with the mother at Dolgeville.  The Wortleys started their married life on a Kansas ranch, but even here the wife said that she was kept short of all the things a woman needs and, after children made their appearance and some of the actual necessaries of life. She eventually persuaded her husband to sell the ranch for $12,000, and with that sum the family came to Hollywood, where the parents of Mrs. Wortley were living. Her husband started in the plumbing business, and she maintains that he was making lots of money but he failed to supply his family with sufficient food or clothing. The husband denies this.   (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/5062083/john-robert-wortley)
