Age 88, our beloved mother passed away on
Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was
born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on March 24, 1918, the daughter of Albert Edward
and Martha (Nellie) Allen James. She is survived by her son Gordon (Karen); her
daughter Helen; and her grandaughters, Kyriann Michelle Lewis and Lindsey
Helen. Her husband, Gordon E Wortley predeceased her in 1986. In accordance
with her wishes there will be no funeral service. The best tribute you can give
our mother is to be kind to each other. Burial will take place in her family
plot in Forest Hill Cemetery, Ann Arbor, MIchigan. We wish to acknowledge and
thank the nurses and staff at Glacier Hills for their care and love for our
mother, especially Donna, Lisa, Sonya, Jason, Letisha and Dominique and to Dr
Shihadeh who skillfully took care of her medical needs and was her best friend
for more than thirty years. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 26
from 6-8 pm at Janowiak Funeral Home, 320 N Washington, Ypsilanti. Arrangements
